OUR pharmacist will be able to advise you on the appropriate treatment for minor ailments (and refer you to a doctor if necessary) and is qualified to help you choose appropriate medicines especially for you.

Family medicines - Keep these at home in case of minor illness:

Antiseptic cream or liquid for treating grazes and spots
Calamine lotion for rashes, stings and sunburn
Cotton wool for cleaning cuts and grazes
Pain killers for adults. (For paracetamol, read the instructions carefully and never exceed the recommended dose.  Do not give asprin to children under 16
Paracetamol syrups for pain and fever in young children (Calpol, Disprol etc.)
Plasters and bandages
Tweezers
Thermometer - or forehead thermometer

ALWAYS KEEP MEDICINE IN A SAFE PLACE WELL OUT OF THE REACH OF CHILDREN
