PEOPLE with high temperatures will feel hot or cold, sweaty or shivery. Their temperature will be over 38.5°C (101°F) in adults or over 38°C (100°F) in children.

Consult your doctor if the patient's temperature rises above 39.5°C (103°F) despite treatment to reduce it.
